Users Must Login to Use Adobe CC Software
In order to use the Adobe CC software in the Art & Design classrooms and labs, one must log in with either and Adobe ID or a UDelNetID. If one has an existing personal Adobe ID (for example, if they are a subscriber to Adobe CC), then they can use that. If one wants to use their UDelNetID to log into the software, they must request to have their ID added to the license. Art & Design faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduate majors should already have their UDelNetID added.
Instructions for logging into the Adobe CC software in the Art & Design classrooms and labs are available.
For more information and/or help with logging into the Adobe CC software in the Art & Design classrooms and labs, please send an email request to udcasit-adobecc@udel.edu.
Photoshop and Illustrator remote access
The University’s Remote Computer Lab (RCL) service may be used to remotely access the Photoshop and Illustrator software. The software is installed on computers in the computer lab, and users connect to and control these computers to use the software on them. Please see Using the UD Remote Computer Labs for details on the use of RCL. UD faculty, staff and students may contact udcasit-adobecc@udel.edu to be added to the Photoshop and Illustrator license if you desire to use the software on the RCL service.
Adobe CC software for individual use
Faculty and Staff
As of this writing, the University does not provide licenses for individuals to install the software on their personal computers and/or use the Adobe CC cloud services. Faculty and staff should consult with their unit’s IT support staff to see if there is a contract from which their unit may purchase a discounted license.
Adobe CC Student Discount
Students who desire to install Adobe CC software and/or use Adobe CC cloud services may want to investigate any available educational discounts offered (for example, see https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students.html).
